My Top 5 Repeat Trader Joe's Purchases

Updated: Apr 20, 2023

5 products you can only find at Trader Joe's, that I think are worth buying again and again.

It all started with pumpkin spice reviews years ago. Trader Joe's had lots of pumpkin spice products, I bought and tried them all and that is how our love story began...

What started as buying every pumpkin spice or fall related product, continues today as a quest to try nearly every Trader Joe's product that I think looks good. As your Trader Joe's aficionado, I am going to share with you five of my favorite exclusive to Trader Joe's items that I find myself reaching for again and again.

1. Mini Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cones

Who knew something so tiny could bring so much satisfaction?! These ice cream cones are a chocolate cone filled with a creamy vanilla ice cream thoroughly dotted with mini chocolate chips. The best part is that they fill the bottom 1/4 inch or so with more chocolate, making the last bite just as good as the first!

Bonus: You also cant go wrong with the Mini Chocolate Chocolate cones, or the seasonal Peppermint cones!

2. Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese with Raisin Rosemary Crisps

I get it, not everyone likes Goat cheese, but in my attempt to make everyone a foodie I beg them to try this blueberry vanilla goat cheese. It is the perfect way to introduce someone to the unique flavor profile of goat cheese. This cheese provides the classic goat cheese tang with a hint of fruity sweetness that really makes a well rounded flavor profile! I love pairing it with Trader Joes Raisin Crisps. TJ's make these crackers in all sorts of seasonal varieties. They are always a perfect savory sweet combination.

Bonus: This cheese pairs so fun with their thin lemon cookies. I love adding these lemon cookies with a little blueberry vanilla goat cheese to a charcuterie board. Unexpected and delicious!

3. Indian Butter Chicken Freezer Meal

Every now and then you need a no fuss, quick and easy meal. Trader Joes Indian Butter Chicken is my go to. All it takes is a few minutes in the microwave and you get some bright and flavorful Indian food. I also once accidentally bought the Palak Paneer-- which is Indian cheese in a spinach sauce and I was surprised at how delicious it was!!

Bonus: You can't go wrong with any of their Indian freezer meals and the freezer naan is a great companion to clean up any extra sauce!

4. Apricot Stilton

I know I already talked cheese, but I would feel bad if I didn't include my other favorite Trader Joes cheese. Stilton comes in two varieties Blue and White. This Apricot stilton is a white variety with small chunks of dried apricots. Apparently I love the fruit and cheese combos!! The hints of sweet with the salty sharpness make for a great hard cheese that I love adding to my charcuterie spreads!

Bonus: I often place this cheese next to other fruits, like strawberries and apples. They pair so well together!

5. Chocolate and Almond Freezer Croissants

Everybody loves a good croissant and these Trader Joe's freezer croissants have to be the easiest way to get delicious, flaky, buttery croissants. All you do is set them out to thaw the night before and they are ready to bake the next morning! Almond is my favorite with a creamy marzipan-like filling, and you cant go wrong with a classic chocolate. My Belgian father even raved about how delicious these were, and trust me- he is hard to please!

Bonus: These are an easy way to make a brunch spread feel fancy or would be perfect for a easy but fancy birthday breakfast!

That was hard!! There are a lot of Trader Joe's things I love, but this is just the beginning of lots more Trader Joes content, to help you know whats worth the hype and what you can pass next time you find yourself at TJ's.
